YOUNG DRAGONS
Small groups of students work together and become mini companies each with their own job role. Supported by 'friendly dragons' from local businesses students work together to come up with a business idea, make a business plan and then figure out how to make a real PROFIT! Runs particularly well over a six week period and is ideal as a cluster activity.

IDEAS FACTORY
Creativity is the key with this one! Designing either a fair trade chocolate bar or an sustainable community centre learners will understand what is involved in developing, designing and marketing a product or service. This event could be adapted to relate to a subject theme at your school.

WORLD TOURS
Students can plan a tour for a favourite pop group or sports team. This event engages a number of skills particularly financial and global awareness. What is your budget? - this event can also incorporate an element of understanding budgeting, profit and loss.

WORLD OF WORK
A hands on activity where business people visit the school to show the children what they do and how they do it. Learners get the chance to 'have a go' in small groups. This is great for developing aspirations and awareness of the workplace.
